Wild Connections Week – Sunset at the wildlife bridge, 10th anniversary celebration!
A special event as part of Wild Connections Week — Celebrate 10 years of the Sonoran Desert’s first wildlife crossing bridge, completed in April 2016! Featuring special guests Pima County District 1 Supervisor Rex Scott, the Town of Oro Valley Mayor Joe Winfield, and more!
This is a rare chance to see and explore Southern Arizona’s only wildlife bridge and hear about its successes.
When: Friday, April 17, 6:00 PM -7:30 PM
Where: Next to the Ann Day Memorial Wildlife Bridge in the Catalina-Tortolita Mountains wildlife linkage
What: A short walk uphill on gravely terrain to view the top of the wildlife bridge. Celebrate this widely successful bridge with a cake cutting, a toast, and with words from special guests. Light refreshments (in addition to cake!) will be provided.
