A special event as part of Wild Connections Week — Celebrate 10 years of the Sonoran Desert’s first wildlife crossing bridge, completed in April 2016! Featuring special guests from Pima County, the Town of Oro Valley, and more. This is a rare chance to see and explore Southern Arizona’s only wildlife bridge and hear about its successes.
When: Friday, April 17, 6-7:30pm
Where: Lower parking lot of the Santa Catalina Catholic Church in the Catalina-Tortolita Mountains wildlife linkage
What: A short walk uphill on gravely terrain to view the top of the wildlife bridge. Celebrate this widely successful bridge with a cake cutting, a toast, and with words from special guests. Light refreshments (in addition to cake!) will be provided.
