Honoring Bill Shaw and celebrating the Shaw Wildlife Corridor

March 6 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

In 1986, Bill Shaw identified what has become known as the Shaw Wildlife Corridor. This was the first effort to incorporate considerations for wildlife, their habitats, and wildlife movement corridors into local land use planning in Pima County.

Please join us and keynote speaker, Pima County Board of Supervisor Chair, Jennifer Allen, in honoring Bill Shaw and celebrating the Shaw Wildlife Corridor!

This event is part of the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan’s year-long 25th anniversary celebration and 10th anniversary of the MSCP, an initiative to which Bill was also integral.

RSVP by sending an email to admin@sonorandesert.org with your name and the names of anyone in your party.
