Please join us in welcoming our newest Coalition member — the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum!
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
The mission of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert.
The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is renowned for its unique presentation of Sonoran Desert plants, wildlife, and natural history. In their own words, “It is an unparalleled composite of plant, animal, and geologic collections with the goal of making the Sonoran Desert accessible, understandable, and valued.”
We continue to be impressed by the Desert Museum’s efforts and look forward to working more closely with them towards a shared vision for our desert.
The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection is an alliance of conservation and community organizations first formed in 1998. This includes local, regional, national and even international groups! We are grateful for all our member groups and their collaboration as we tackle complex and interdisciplinary challenges together.
Are you involved with an organization that you think would be a good fit for CSDP? Please contact our Co-Executive Director Kate Hotten at Kate.Hotten@sonorandesert.org or give us a call at (520) 388-9925. We’d love to hear from you!
