Tucson Citizen Lobby Workshop Is January 29th!

Don’t miss the Tucson Citizen Lobby Workshop!
Wednesday, January 29, 2014
5:30pm-7:30pm
The Historic Y Conference Room
738 N 5th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85705

Are you ready to make a difference? Interested in helping to protect Arizona’s air, land, and water? Promote clean energy? Please join us for this fun (yes, fun!) and informative workshop. Arizona needs more advocates who are willing to meet with legislators, city council people, county supervisors, and other officials who have enormous impact on our future and on what kind of legacy we leave for the next generation. The workshop runs two hours and covers the basics on the Arizona Legislature, how a bill becomes a law, how a bill really becomes a law, and Do’s and Don’ts of Citizen Lobbying. We will also have food and drinks as we know this is during dinner time for many. Please let us know if you have specific dietary needs. If you will be joining us for Environmental Lobby Day, please join us for the workshop!
