Now there’s a Giving Tuesday!

We hope you’ll consider giving on December 3rd for a protected Sonoran Desert, connected wild places, healthy wildlife populations, and abundant open space for people and wildlife.

This year, the Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection is joining with thousands of other nonprofits to help publicize a new tradition – Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is a worldwide movement that kicks off the “Season of Giving” by asking people like you to support your favorite nonprofit with a donation. Giving Tuesday proves that the holidays can be about both giving and giving back. It celebrates how we can do more with our wallets than just shop – and that we can give as good as we get.

We are really excited this year to have a $15,000 matching gift to celebrate the closing of our 15th Anniversary year. If you give today, your gift will be doubled!

As we wrap up our 15th Anniversary year, we are celebrating our many accomplishments, including the $174 million of open space funding that has protected vast swaths of pristine desert, the upcoming installation of the Sonoran Desert’s first vegetated wildlife bridge, and land-use policies that establish vital open space in new developments.

Since we launched our fall fundraising campaign before Thanksgiving, we’ve raised $9,466 of our $15,000 goal. Will you help us move even closer to our goal by giving today?
