Martin Baumrind, Treasurer

Marty lives in both Brooklyn, NY and Tucson, AZ. He has owned and managed Baumrind & Baumrind, a real estate investment firm based in Brooklyn, since 1979. He has also owned and managed Desert Courtyard and Casitas, a real estate investment firm based in Tucson, since 2012. Along with Marty’s service as a Board member for the Coalition, Marty serves as a Trustee for the Friends of Catalina State Park, and in the past has been a Trustee for the Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Community Foundation, and the Brooklyn Museum. He is the Chairman of Ohr Haganuz, a charitable foundation that owns and operates a township and schools in Meron, Israel and yeshivas in Jerusalem. He graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from Richmond College in 1974 and has two daughters and one granddaughter with his wife Mickey.
