Sands Ranch

The Sands Ranch is contained entirely within a Multiple Use Management Area and also contains Important Riparian Areas. It support nine priority vulnerable species, and contains Priority 1 Conservation Areas for the pale Townsend’s big-eared bat, Bell’s vireo, Swainson’s hawk and desert box turtle. The parcel is adjacent to the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area and borders the western boundary of the Coronado National Forest.
