Adopt a Highway Program
Our next highway cleanup will be May 21, 2016 from 7am-10am.
We provide breakfast food, coffee, and water to refill your water bottles. We ask that volunteers bring their own reusable water bottles and coffee mugs.
We meet at the parking lot just off Oracle Road on East Vistoso Commerce Loop Road. Driving north on Oracle Road, turn left on East Vistoso Commerce Loop Road. The parking lot will be your first left and we will meet at the north edge of the lot.
We have adopted Oracle Road / State Route 77 from milepost 83 to 84, as part of Arizona’s Adopt-A-Highway campaign. This section of the road encompasses one of the wildlife crossings that was recently completed. We want to demonstrate our stewardship for the area with regular highway cleanups. Cleanups happen bi-annually near the beginning and end of the year. If you would like to receive updates when new cleanups are scheduled, you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a great opportunity to check out the crossing locations firsthand and to get all the up-to-date information about the progress of the wildlife crossings! We will also be on the lookout for signs of wildlife to document their use of the area.
